Dynamic Nonviolence: Studying Peace for Living is an 8-session class using resources from The Class of Nonviolence developed by Colman McCarthy, founder of the Center for Teaching Peace in Washington, D.C. It has been taught to more than 5,000 high school, college, and graduate students since 1982.
In this 8-week process, delve into the study and practice of nonviolence. Each session includes online readings from great peacemakers such as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, Dorothy Day, Mohandas Gandhi, Gene Sharp, and Leo Tolstoy.
When: 8 Tuesdays, 9:30-11:30 AM, June 6 - August 1, skipping July 4
